Congratulations to Plympton Elementary School for being recognized by the Department of Elementary & Secondary Education (DESE) as a 2025 School of Recognition at the State House! James joined MA Secretary of Education Patrick Tutwiler, DESE Commissioner Pedro Martinez, Plympton Principal Adrienne Norris, Waltham Superintendent Marisa Mendonsa, Mayor Jeannette McCarthy, and State Rep. Tom Stanley. This award recognizes schools that have made tremendous strides towards annual accountability targets with a particular focus on ELA and Math. Go Penguins!

Thank you so much to the voters of the City of Waltham, my campaign team, family, Waltham Educators and friends for all your support throughout this election. I am truly grateful for all the time and effort we put in as a campaign team to canvass & door-knock across this wonderful City and meet so many new people. I am honored to be elected and to serve on the Waltham School Committee. Today, the work starts our campaign has set out to accomplish: that we continue to work together positively & collaboratively as a community for the future of our city by empowering our youth & students with the opportunities to pursue their dreams and realize their full potential in the world.
